With our thoughts we give birth to the new characters that we are about to become. We are the shapers of ours own beings. We animate them and let them live and die, and in the continuous cycles we give birth to new ones. All comes back to the beginning of the loop."Le Libertatem" is declaring independence of form and expression through movement, body language, and visual connections between characters by building a narrative of the process of embodiment of one’s inner voice into external shape. The action is tied to the idea of breakthrough, in a literal sense and in a metaphorical one. The narrative gradually builds from the characters introduction to the triumphal reveal. It leaves it up to the viewer to decide whether it was a cat's projection embodied in the shape of the dancer or reverse. 'Le Libertatem' is a self-staged piece which borders between a conceptual video work and an expressive self manifestation through the performance. The costume was made from about 4 pairs of tights sewn together by hand.
